Taylor is thrilled to introduce the Jacob Collier Signature Model, designed with the visionary artist and multi-GRAMMY-winning innovator who continually pushes musical boundaries. The signature model comes in two different configurations: a 5-string tuned to DAEAD (the lower/bass strings are tuned in fifths, while the upper/treble strings are tuned in fourths) and this one which is a more traditional 6-string, strung in standard tuning.
Both the 5-string and 6-string editions feature a Grand Concert body crafted from solid, Select-grade Hawaiian Koa and incorporate a matte finish. The fretboard, bridge and peghead each showcase Ebony that was specially chosen for its rich variegation. Both models come with Jacob’s signature aesthetic touches, including a custom Koa truss rod cover with a laser-etched JC logo and a custom interior label that also sports the logo. Other visual details on both guitars include an understated black & Maple single-ring rosette, black soundboard edge trim, mother-of- pearl 4mm dot fretboard inlays and a mother-of-pearl Taylor peghead logo. Equipped with ultra-precise Gotoh 510 antique chrome tuners with matching buttons and LR Baggs Element VTC electronics, the Jacob Collier Signature Model delivers a natural acoustic tone when plugged in. It ships in a brown AeroCase for lightweight, durable protection.
