Collings 290 DC-S in jet Black
Sometimes simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Featuring a single Lollar High Wind Dogear P90 pickup, the 290® DC S® offers unhindered access to all 22 frets and a wide range of tonal possibilities. Subtle manipulations of the volume and tone controls offer pristine clean tones to deep, warm jazz sounds and everything in between. There are few bases the 290® DC S® cannot cover.
290® DC vs 290® DC S
The only difference between the 290® DC and 290® DC S are that the “S” version features a single bridge pickup with one volume and one tone knob, along with no pickup selector switch. They otherwise share the same body size, shape, scale length, electronics, and standard appointments.
290® S vs 290® DC S
While both models feature the same standard appointments, the 290® S is a single-cutaway body, while the 290® DC S features a double cutaway.
